FAQ

  • What types of conditions do you address?

Our patients have presented with all kinds of health issues. Most commonly we work with hormonal imbalances, allergies and food sensitivities, autoimmune conditions, cancer, diabetes, weight loss support, mental health, MCAS, POTS, mold toxicity, and more.

  • Do you see people of all ages?

Yes, all ages are welcome. Naturopathic medicine provides a safe and effective way to achieve better health for people of all ages. Naturopathic protocols can be tailored to fit the specific needs of any adult or child.

  • Do you require any testing or labs prior to the initial consultation?

No, your first consultation consists of getting to know you as an individual and establishing a doctor-patient relationship. We can review any previous labs you may have had done and lab recommendations can be made specifically for you based on what is found during your intake.

  • What types of testing do you offer?

Unlike many functional and holistic doctors, we do not require expensive specialty lab tests right off the bat. We do have the option to run specialty labs but it is not always necessary. Dr. Lukach is able to read basic labs through a functional lens which means that we can be proactive towards your health and address things before they become full-blown issues/diseases. Labs and testing we run include: labs through Quest Diagnostics/Labcorp, DUTCH test, HTMA (hair tissue mineral analysis), food sensitivity tests, GI effects, NutrEval, MycoTox (mold testing), heavy metal testing, environmental toxins, etc.

  • What makes naturopathic medicine different?

Naturopathic doctors are trained in 4-year accredited naturopathic medical schools and they are trained in pharmacology, surgery, and all other modern interventions. What makes them different is that they are also trained in herbal and botanical medicine, nutrition, and all other holistic/natural therapies. Other doctors/providers are generally not trained in the holistic/natural therapies so they do not typically offer these options to their patients.

  • What type of budget should most people set to be able to afford recommendations/protocols?

Our packages include just the consultations. Any labs and specialty tests are a separate cost. We do not work with insurance companies but certain labs/tests can be submitted by you to your health insurance company. We also accept HSA/FSA payments. Our cost of services can be found here.
